Trumpet Classics, Vol. 1-4 gathers 120 of the most recognizable melodies from the classical, operatic, and hymn repertoire and puts them in front of the developing trumpet player as single-line, unaccompanied solos. I’ve sequenced the book so that the writing grows in difficulty as you move through it, starting with simple stepwise tunes built on long tones and easy rhythms and gradually introducing wider intervals, key changes, chromaticism, and more demanding phrasing by the end of the collection.
