{"id":5038,"date":"2023-08-01T15:31:18","date_gmt":"2023-08-01T15:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/erikveldkamp.nl\/wordpress\/?p=5038"},"modified":"2023-08-01T15:31:19","modified_gmt":"2023-08-01T15:31:19","slug":"claudio-roditi-books","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/erikveldkamp.nl\/wordpress\/?p=5038","title":{"rendered":"Claudio Roditi books"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the fans of Claudio Roditi: I wrote out a couple of his best albums with Paquito D&#8217;Rivera and qPress just released them. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/qpress.ca\/product\/paquito-drivera-live-at-the-keystone-korner-album-transcription\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Keystone Corner<\/a> was one of the first recordings I got from one of my teachers (Eddie Engels) who was a friend of Claudio. This one is my favorite. <a href=\"https:\/\/qpress.ca\/product\/paquito-drivera-manhattan-burn-album-transcription\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Manhattan Burn<\/a> is a great Studio Album from the same period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Claudio played with Dizzy&#8217;s United Nations Orchestra for a long time, together with Paquito D&#8217;Rivera and Arturo Sandoval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was fortunate to play once with him in Germany which of course was great fun.
