10 Characteristic Studies for Trumpet are intermediate to advanced level studies that are meant to challenge your fingers, your flexibility, and your endurance. These studies are beautiful and melodic while also being virtuosic. It is actually quite easy to write a VERY hard study. What is difficult though, is writing a difficult study that can be perfected when played with good facility, and is rewarding when played well.
