Con Alma is a great composition written by Dizzy Gillespie and has been on my arranging bucketlist for a long time. So it was a nice challenge to write an arrangement for 4 trumpets. I used the interlude from Dizzy’s big band arrangement and added a simple latin beat to keep myself in the right tempo…?
