I wrote a new warming-up book for trumpet because I don’t like playing boring exercises like flow studies or long tones. So I had the idea to use well known jazz standards, edit them a bit so they are great for getting the airstream working and the lips vibrating. You have to play them with a full warm sound as if you are performing for an audience!
I’ve called them Song & Wind Studies (yes I’m a Arnold Jacobs fan…) and all 30 will be available by qPress very soon.
