Today I started a new job as a trumpet technique teacher (jazz) at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. I will do my best to teach the students all the skills they need to succeed in this beautiful profession!
I will be part of a great team of teachers: Jan Oosthof, Ruud Bruuls, Jan Wessels, Jarmo Hoogendijk and Jacco Groenendijk. I looking forward to collaborate with them to get our students to a much higher level so they will be prepared for the future.
Needless to say I will use all my books (published by qPress) for my teaching. I’ve completed 10 more this summer (8 Chet Baker transcription books), so there is no shortage of learning material!
