Choro(or Chorinho) is an instrumental genre of the Brazilian popular music that has its origins in Rio de Janeiro in late 1800s.
I started to dive into this music a few months ago and bought some backing tracks. I decided to write some new melodies on top of them because the original melodies where not suited for trumpet. So here is one I recorded this morning with the very inventive title “Chorizo”….
